Tokai University Pacific Center

The unique and rich multicultural milieu that characterizes Hawaii, together with its geographic location in the Pacific midway between Asian and the Americas, made Honolulu the perfect site for TES to open the Tokai University Pacific Center (TUPC) in 1990. Housed in TUPC is HTIC, an accredited U.S. junior college established in 1992 that awards an Associate in Arts degree in liberal arts. A special emphasis of HTIC is the tailored English language and American studies programs of various lengths provided for international students. TUPC is also a venue for international conferences, seminars and other academic programs.
