Tokai University Unified Graduate School |
|
In April 2005, the Tokai University Unified Graduate School Doctoral Course was established to further enhance the collaboration between Tokai University, Kyushu Tokai University, and Hokkaido Tokai University, and to systemize all research activities. Rather than the traditional academic majors within fields of study, the Unified Graduate School divides courses based upon fields of research, resulting in a more integrated system that allows for more comprehensive and complex research projects. It is hoped that such a multi-disciplinary approach will foster researchers capable of cutting edge research that will benefit global society. To encourage advanced and original research that goes beyond the boundaries of traditional graduate courses, the Comprehensive Frontier Program was established. The program is the foundation from which Tokai hopes to develop advanced academic research of global importance.
