opens in Miho, Shimizu City, Shizuoka.
1944
• Apr. The Electric Wave Science College opens in Ekoda, Nakano-ku, Tokyo.
1945
• Aug. Consolidation of the Aerial Science College and the Electric Wave.
• Science College into the Tokai College of Science.
1946
• May. Recognition of Tokai University under the old system of education.
• The School of Science, the School of Economics and the Humanities, and
the Preparatory Course open.
1950
• Apr. Official recognition as a university under the new system of education.
• The School of Engineering and the School of Letters open.
1960
• Apt. An experimental FM broadcasting station (F.M. Tokai/FM-JS2H) opens.
